In 2019, ShowTex launched its own acoustic department called Does It Hertz! As part of the ShowTex group, it benefits from more than 40 years of experience in inventing, manufacturing and installing flame-retardant fabrics and the most innovative drape suspension systems. An acoustic issue? Does It Hertz is happy to advise and assist. Sounds good, right?

As a Project Manager for Does It Hertz, you are always looking for new ways to merge acoustics and aesthetics into real "ear" catchers, focusing on clients in The Netherlands. 

From initial advice to final installation, together with your colleagues in Belgium and The Netherlands, as well as your customer, you like coming up with creative acoustic solutions. Large concert halls and theatres or very specific office and interior applications, you feel at home in any kind of setting. Handling their requests from A to Z and transforming them into a comprehensible quote, with the support of other departments.  

Based on your acoustic know-how and the available solutions, you can create realistic expectations. On-site meetings or technical visits? That doesn’t scare you off, on the contrary! You feel at home both in the office as well as on the road and are always eager to start prospecting. You see trade shows, networking events or research projects as a valuable opportunity to make contacts and can report on this very openly. 

CURIOUS HOW WE SEE YOU?

In addition to solid, relevant experience, you have a genuine interest in sound and room acoustics. Prior knowledge is a plus, but certainly not a requirement — you'll learn the tricks of the trade during in-house training. On top of that, you’ll always be able to rely on the expertise we have in-house.

You are currently living in the Netherlands. However, if you have a relevant network in the Netherlands and live between Antwerp and the Dutch border, we are open to exploring the feasibility of this setup.

Are you a strong communicator who can win us over with your confident English and flawless Dutch? That’s promising! Are you persuasive, skilled at negotiation, and known for getting things done? Even better! Solid technical insight is essential for making a success of this role.

Your focus on quality and efficiency means you quickly take ownership of your work and priorities. Coordinating projects is in your DNA. You get the job done and guide our installation teams effectively — even when deadlines are tight. And even under pressure, your optimism and hands-on mindset always shine through!
