Are you ready to gain practical, hands-on experience in the U.S.? The J-1 Traineeship offers professionals with a degree and at least one year of related experience or those with five years of relevant experience the opportunity to train in a dynamic and creative environment for up to 18 months.

NOW HERE'S YOUR DREAM TRAINEESHIP

As a Transport and compliance trainee, you will play a crucial role in managing logistical operations, with the focus on the daily logistic operations, import/export regulations and customs compliance across North America. This traineeship offers a hands-on, educational experience for a maximum of 18 months.

Your main responsibilities:

• International Shipping Management: Work with our partners to ensure efficient and compliant shipments.
• Customs Compliance: Ensure adherence to import/export regulations, manage required documentation, and guarantee compliance with local and international laws.
• Tariff Classification: Identify and apply the correct HS codes for products to streamline customs processes.
• Logistics Optimization: Identify the best transportation solutions and improve existing processes.
• Team Support: Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to address logistical and regulatory needs.
• Customer Service: Handle transportation-related claims and ensure timely resolution for customer satisfaction.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

No doubt your communication skills ensure you can speak and write English fluently.

Having prior experience in a similar field is beneficial but not required. With internal support, self-study, research, and external advice, you will gain the necessary expertise. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn contribute to ShowTex's growth in North America.

PERSONALITY AND SKILLS

• Background in logistics, international trade, or a related field is a bonus, not a must.
• Basic knowledge of customs regulations and import/export practices is a bonus not a must.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail, especially with HS codes and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (experience with MS Dynamics Navision is a bonus).
• A curious mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Self-starter with strong initiative.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
