You know those drapes that define a theatre? Or the scenic fabrics that create a mood on stage? That's what we do. Event decoration, dressing amusement parks, fabric reveal systems…? Yep, we’re known for that too.

As a global leader in inventing, developing and installing highly innovative, flame-retardant textiles and suspension systems, we spend our days tackling the most creative challenges in set building, stage and stand design. You can find ShowTex offices in Europe, the Middle East, North America, South Africa, Asia and Australia, but your home base, our head office is located in Burcht, near Antwerp.

AND YOU? ARE YOU OUR NEW QUALITY CONTROL EXPERT?

As a quality controller, you play a crucial role in the production process of decorative fabrics, theatre curtains and event decoration. You’re responsible for the final quality check of correctness and completeness of orders to ensure customers only receive the best product quality and service. Our confection quality controller and you will therefore work together as a well-oiled machine.

You will test all finished products and decide whether they’re ready to send to our customers. Based on your inspections, you constantly link back to previous phases and departments in the production process to constantly review and perfect them for an optimal production workflow.

NOW HERE’S HOW WE SEE YOU

For us, your education is less relevant than your experience. You fall back on at least one former experience in a quality function within a production environment.

Apart from that you are a nice colleague who takes pride in delivering precise work. You have strong mathematical skills and positive communication is your strong suit, in both English and Dutch. The word ‘problem’ is not in your vocabulary, but taking on challenges is something you enjoy doing. Oh, and you like to work with a computer, that too!
