Highly elastic mesh: unique museum decoration

Shanghai, China
October 2024

3D structures in black stretchy mesh add a subtle, artistic touch to Hu Yun's Mount Analogue exhibition.

Fabric 3D structures with flame-retardant mesh

Upon entering the Rockbund Art Museum, six eye-catching stretchable scrim set-ups welcome visitors to the exhibit. The single- and double-layer fabric structures represent the barks of trees, that stretch all the way from the floor to the ceiling.

Thanks to their sober appearance, the textile decorations subtly break the open space in a way that perfectly suits the minimalist style of the expo. At the same time, the see-through effect of the mesh adds dynamics to the space, as museum pieces are displayed inside the 3D structures.

Not only does the translucent fabric give the exhibition an artistic touch, but StretchTulle also meets local safety requirements by complying to the GB-B1 flame-retardancy standard. Win-win!

Are you looking for flame-retardant fabric solutions to uniquely display your masterpieces?
