Encounters is a collaboration between the Antwerp museums MAS and KMSKA and an exhibition that wants to evoke a universal experience of art by combining works of art with choreographies created by Pé Vermeersch.
Scenographic agency Omgevingen continues this unique concept from curator Paul Vandenbroeck into the interior design by means of curved walls made of light grey GobelinTulle by ShowTex.
No less than 13 partition curtains of 4 metres high divide the exhibition space into several clusters. Keders attach the scrims to keder profiles of different radii and widths, contributing to the dynamics of the exhibition. The scrims are weighted with curved aluminium tubes to hold them nicely and tightly in place.
