World Tour

The Hydra World Tour is a concert tour by Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation in support of their sixth studio album, Hydra.
The show kicked off with a multi layered 8 by 14 meter reveal curtain sporting the album logo, printed on Universal 250 and two layers of white DekoTaft. When the curtain dropped, it uncovered a sci-fi themed stage design consisting of a huge video screen set between an enormous replica of the two-headed monster that adorns the jacket of Hydra.
ShowTex printed both 7 by 10 meter heads on Universal 250 and attached them onto a GobelinTulle scrim after laser cutting the contours. The video screen in between the heads displayed stunning visuals, including flames coming out of the monsters’ mouths and adding to the surreal atmosphere of the concert.
Within Temptation filled arenas throughout the world with their Hydra tour and left the audience speechless after each gig. Symphonic rock as it should be!
