Mesh fabric brings intimacy to festival stage

A custom-fitted mesh fabric transforms the Boiler Room stage at Primavera Sound, creating an immersive festival experience. Vampire Studio partnered with ShowTex to wrap the circular scaffolding structure in see-through Trevira scrims, adding a minimalist yet intimate vibe to the popular festival venue.
Stage scrim creates airy festival atmosphere
The temporary outdoor club comes alive through 350 linear metres budget-friendly scrim fabric, custom-cut into various sizes. Reinforcing each piece with webbing and finishing it with grommets ensures a precise fit across the entire structure.
The translucent mesh also keeps the stage airy and luminous during daytime sets, but transforms into an ideal canvas for colourful lighting effects after sunset. Simple doesn’t have to be boring!
Fire safety meets artistic vision
An impressive stage design isn’t just about visual impact. Material safety is equally crucial, making this inherently flame-retardant mesh a logical choice for a major music festival. Meeting international fire-safety standards, the Trevira scrim ensures safety on and off stage without compromising design.
