Ever heard of ShowTex's unique HiSpeed Reveal or HiSpeed Roll-Up products? Or perhaps the Kabuki 50 and Kabuki 30 systems, perfect for dramatic stage reveals? We also offer a range of innovative track systems designed for seamless movement and precision.

As the Mechanical Product Specialist within our production and installation team, you will guarantee timely, accurate, safe, and efficient preparation, service, assembly, and placement of these products. Both in-house and on-site at locations across Canada, you will ensure flawless execution for our clients.

Your main tasks? Working in the technical workshop, preparing these products for installations, and conducting the actual on-site installations.

But there’s more: as a Mechanical Product Specialist for the production and installation team, you adhere to strict safety and quality procedures like no other. You work with great attention to detail, ensuring accuracy even when deadlines are tight.

As the Mechanical Product Specialist, you are also the technical support for any project-driven requests that come through the Sales & Projects team. No two days are the same! You maintain open communication with all stakeholders, as you are the voice of the Mechanical Products inventory.

You also understand how important technical documentation is to help customers grasp the sometimes complex nature of ShowTex products. You provide or oversee the production of technical drawings and renders for Projects and Installations, ensuring everything is clear and precise.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

As a trained mechanical specialist or engineer, either by education or experience, you understand how these products work and how to maintain them. You can perform repairs and are skilled at reading (and creating) technical drawings. You also know that deadlines can be tight, but good organization goes a long way in ensuring success.

No doubt your communication skills allow you to speak and write English fluently, ensuring smooth collaboration with both clients and colleagues.

PERSONALITY AND SKILLS

• Great communication, organizational and negotiation skills, driven by a strong commercial insight.
• Quality-oriented problem-solver with technical knowledge, who is resourceful and fast-paced.
• Always maintains an optimistic and hands-on mentality, even in stressful situations.
• Able to autonomously organize and coordinate a project, meeting the deadline set
• Good budget control skills and capable of accurate administrative work
• Driven, eager to learn and ready to pass on knowledge
