ShowTex supplied Engineer David Johnson of MRL systems ltd for a total theatre refit for the theatre and technical gallery at St. Catherine’s School in the UK.
Durable inherently flame retardant Velours Paris CS drapes in theatre red lined in ruby red Dekotaft taffeta were selected for main curtains. Paris CS velvets remain virtually wrinkle free, are less sensitive to moisture, and retain their FR standard throughout the life cycle of the drape.
A lighter weight off-white velvet lined in Blackout 270 fabric was used for all technical gallery cloths. ShowTex also manufactured Wool Serge Panne borders, legs, and backdrops.
