Daarkom, the Flemish-Moroccan Cultural Centre, is a multicultural meeting place. Renowned interior designer Karim Osmani commissioned ShowTex for the creation and installation of a variety of decorative fabrics. The famous "La Gaîté" building was transformed combining Moroccan tradition and Western avant-garde.
ShowTex supplied semi-transparent, loose weave muslin Cyclo 75 for the impressive staircase and the prestigious meeting rooms.
In addition, ShowTex custom manufactured red stage velvets and black acoustic Wool Serge Panne for the elegant theatre and concert hall. ShowTex mounted a technical ceiling above the stage; a metal structure in which light and sound infrastructure can be installed depending on the performance.
