Amazing Stage Fabrics in Motion
Sila Sveta designed the Pygmalion multimedia performance for the America's Got Talent TV show. The 3D dance experience revolved around an impressive set which was entirely created out of the brand-new ShowTex PepperScrim.
On stage, four metallic scrims of 4.5 by 5 meters each, formed a see-through box around the dancers Arielle Libertore and Derek Tabada. The performers interacted with the projected visuals using 3D video mapping to become one with the giant hologram that was hovering on stage.
As PepperScrim is highly transparent, the audience could see right through the scrim and witnessed a unique choreographic act full of virtual objects surrounding the dancers, as if they were real!
Sila Sveta, which literally translates to 'Luminous Intensity', is a Moscow-based interactive media, production and conceptual design company, which was founded with the idea "to create astonishing things which make people a little bit happier.”
